Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Prayer4Us iOS and Android apps, their related Cloudflare Worker API, and this support page, all provided by ChartGreen Consult Ltd. Prayer4Us does not require an account and does not ask users for a name, email address, or password.
2. How prayer data is handled
- Stored locally: Prayer situations, Scripture, reflections, prayers, dates, prayer duration, and local search indexes are stored on the user's device using iOS SwiftData or Android Room. Text history may be included in the device platform's normal encrypted backup or transfer process when the user enables it; Prayer4Us does not copy that history to its own servers. Users can delete all prayer data in the app settings.
- Audio files: Generated MP3 files are stored in app-private storage and excluded from iCloud or Android backup. Deleting a prayer record also deletes its related audio.
- Prayer and speech generation: To answer a user request, the required prayer situation, selected Scripture, previous prayer segments, and text to be spoken are sent over an encrypted connection to the Prayer4Us Cloudflare Worker and then to the OpenAI API. Prayer4Us does not write this content to its own database or application logs.
- OpenAI: OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. Standard abuse-monitoring logs may contain input or output and may be retained for up to 30 days, or longer when required by law. See OpenAI API data controls.
- Sharing and export: Content is provided to another app or service only when the user actively uses the device's share function. That service handles the data under its own privacy policy.
3. Operational data we process
To verify subscriptions, protect the service, estimate costs, and improve reliability, Prayer4Us may process:
- A randomly generated anonymous installation identifier;
- Apple transaction identifiers or Google Play purchase/subscription identifiers, product ID, store environment, subscription phase, and expiration status;
- App version, language, request type, request success or failure, error code, and latency;
- Text-token usage, speech character count, estimated cost, prayer duration, and prayer segment count.
These operational records do not contain prayer topics, Scripture text, reflections, generated prayers, speech instructions, or audio files. They are not used for advertising or cross-app or cross-site tracking.
