This app is the digital extension of the physical “Father’s Grace Cards.” We hope to bring the warmth of being seen and embraced — the feeling that lives in those paper cards — into your life right now: on your commute, during a sleepless night, after a moment of parenting breakdown, or in any moment when you can’t quite explain what’s wrong with you. You can still draw a word and a scripture, and be reminded: you don’t need to get better first before you deserve to be loved.
The physical grace cards have been used within our team for a long time. Many people have shared: drawing a random card often speaks directly to the need they couldn’t put into words in that moment. But paper cards aren’t always with you; sometimes you know clearly what you’re going through, and sometimes you just want to be held — without having to explain yourself first.
So we created the digital version, and kept two paths:
We’ve also paired each card with an illustration, with image and text presented separately: the image draws you into the emotion and atmosphere, while the words speak into your heart. In the future, if you’d like, you can also combine the text and image into a single card to share with a friend — but the first step is to let yourself be well received here.
